Strengthen Hope

Be a City Connector

Do you feel compelled to invest more than just a few hours a month bringing hope to your city? Then join the Project City HOPE City Connection Team for your particular city. City Connection Team members focus their time and talents on serving their city through prayer, planning projects, promoting opportunities, and recruiting support. City Connection Teams also assist their city by assessing needs, building networks, and cultivating new projects.

ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNERS, CHURCHES, CITY LEADERS, AND SCHOOL OFFICIALS

Project City Hope believes the greatest restoration of communities will come through collaborative projects and networks that unite public, private, and faith sectors together for the common good. Project City Hope is looking for people in all sectors (business, churches, government, schools, etc.) to join our Project City Hope Network so sustained effort and hope can be shared across Southern California. Start A New Project!

Is God leading you to bring hope to your city? Then pilot a Project City Hope program in your community. If a program already exists and is active, simply join in the blessing. If not, pilot one of our expandable projects in your city and help bring hope home! To launch a project in your city, follow these 5 phases:

  1. PICK

Pick an expandable Project City Hope program that aligns with your passions. If God has given you a passion to serve kids, for example, start there. If your heart beats for senior adults, start there. The key is to start with you heart! Once you select a program, download a Starter Guide from the list below. The guide provides a template to pilot your selected program.

    • Adopt-A-Senior
    • Breakfast Together
    • Breaking Bread
    • Brown Bag Times Two
    • Compassionate Friends
    • Future Grad
    • Homework Club
    • Mobile Church
    • Not So Extreme Makeover
    • Operation Backpack
    • Rapid Response
    • Recycling for Bibles
    • Serve Day
    • Sports to All
    • Urban Arts Outreach
    • Youth Connect
  2. PRAY

Pray for your program and the people to whom it will bring hope. Pray for a group of people to serve with you. A great place to start is with your small group and other networks of friends.
  3. PLAN

Plan a time and place to pilot your Project City Hope program. Your Starter Guide offers great information and easy-to-follow tips on developing a successful plan. This is when you will want to do a little research finding the right location for your pilot program.
  4. PILOT

Pilot the Project City Hope program you selected by using your life to serve for a few hours, bringing hope to people in your city. Make sure to contact your Project City Hope Community Director at 949-609-8333 so they know about your pilot program so they can be praying for you.
  5. PROMOTE

Promote your Project City Hope program to other people who live in your city. This is the final step. Completion is based on you and your leadership team meeting with your Project City Hope Community Director to celebrate your pilot program and make any needed adjustments. This will allow more people to serve with you and bring hope to people in your community. At this phase, approved programs become an official part of Project City Hope.
Thank you in advance for helping bring hope to the hurting in our cities and counties. We truly are better together!
